Effective 4 October 2026 · Claw Island by ConfusedGameDev

Short version: Claw Island doesn't collect anything about you. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

What the game stores

To remember your progress, the game saves a few small things on your device: which islands you have reached, your best score, the monster pieces you have won, and settings such as music on/off. In the app this lives in the app's own storage; on the web it lives in your browser's local storage for this site. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else, and you can erase it at any time by deleting the app or clearing the site's data in your browser.

What we collect

Nothing. The game has no sign-in, does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts or photos, and contains no advertising or analytics code. It does not send data to our servers or to third parties.

The name you give your monster stays on your device unless you choose to share the picture.

Sharing and saving pictures

The Share and Save image buttons create a picture of your monster on your device and hand it to your phone's or browser's share sheet. Where it goes from there is up to you. On iPhone, saving a picture may ask for permission to add it to your photo library; the game only adds that one image and never reads your photos.

The Facebook and X buttons open those services with a pre-written post and a link to the game. If you continue, you are using their service under their own privacy policies.

This website

The game and these pages are hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel may process technical information such as IP addresses in its server logs to deliver the site and keep it secure. We don't use cookies, analytics or tracking on this site.

Children

Claw Island is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
